As November draws to a close we begin the final countdown to what we ALL believe will be a successful yet historical 2010.

Intelsat Conference & Cocktail Party @ Mount Nelson

Intelsat is the leading provider of fixed satellite services (FSS) worldwide.         They supply video, data and voice connectivity in approximately 200 countries and territories for approximately 1,800 customers, many of which they have had a relationship with for more than 30 years.                                                       

Renette Wilkinson of Events Original, called upon AV Direct's expertise for a 3rd consecutive year in providing all their technical requirements for the       2 Day Conference and Cocktail Party that took place at Mount Nelson Hotel on the 9th November and 10th November 2009.

Dirty Skirts Rocks Black River Parkway

Black River Parkway Investments hosted their Year End Bash for all their tenants on Thursday, 26th November 09 , which took place within the Main Courtyard of their North Block Building.                                          Over 1000 invited tenants attended this exclusive event and were entertained throughout the evening by DJ SOX and a well known South African Band, DIRTY SKIRTS.                                                              The atmosphere within the courtyard was electric and guests danced the night away to top entertainment.                                                                          

AV Direct was instrumental in providing and operating all the necessary Technical Equipment for this celebration and here is a list of some of the equipment we provided:                                                                                                   * Stage for Dirty Skirts (7.2m x 4.8m x 500mm) and a Black Backrop covered with Fairy Lights * Full JBL S ound Rig - including JBL VRX932LA-1 12" Two-Way Line Array Speakers  * Backline Equipment for Band * Stage Lighting & Truss   * Power Distro's + 3 Phase Cabling * DJ Equipment + DJ Table * Lighting for Fountain and surrounding trees .                                                      

The Tenant Liaision and organiser of the event, Lauren Williams went on to say:  "The service and advice given during the preparation and leading up to the event was incredibly helpful and the event itself was spectacular and a great success."

Highlight's from November Installations

AV Direct was contracted in to supply and install Technical Equipment at various venues throughout the Western Cape this month, such as:

Moyo Restaurant (Blouberg)  - AV Direct supplied and installed:                  * Sound for a 3 Piece Band which was installed in the following areas:  Outside Deck / Bar / Main Conference Area + Toilet / Dinning Room / Downstairs Shop Entrance / Upstairs Conference and Roof Area.               * Stage Lighting was also installed and Stage Tables were purchased.       

Durbanville Kuns Kafee - AV Direct supplied and is busy installing:                        * A full Lighting Rig including a Show Magic PC
